The Marble Mountain is a popular sightseeing location in Da Nang because of its alluring beauty. Stone steps carved into the mountain lead to a Buddhist Pagoda. You can also discover stunning caves and enjoy the beautiful view from the top of the mountain. Upon arrival to the mountain, we will climb up the stone stairs and visit the caves and pagodas as well as admire the beautiful panoramic view. We will then head down the mountain and visit the stone village where the skilled local sculptors create many marble products. Before getting back to the hotel, we head to Linh Ung Pagoda. Built under the reign of King Minh Mang in the Nguyen Dynasty (the 19th century), legend has it a Buddhist statue drifted downstream to the area and got anchored at a sandy embankment. The local villagers thought it was a good sign, so they built up a small pagoda to worship the statue. From that day on, they said, the whole coastal region enjoyed good weather, with no big storms and rough sea waves, while local fishermen harvested good fishing.

First, we will visit Ngu Hanh Son (Marble Mountain) where we will discover the stunning natural caves of the mountain and enjoy the beautiful view from the top. We will also visit mysterious pagodas and the sculpture village. Then, we will visit the Cham Museum, which displays the most complete collection of rare and valuable items of the famous Cham Culture. After lunch, we will continue by going through the Thuan Phuoc Bridge – the longest suspension bridge in Viet Nam; then on to Son Tra Peninsula to visit Dong Dinh Museum, Quan Am Status and Linh Ung pagoda which is known as one of the most significant pilgrimage destinations for Buddhists in Viet Nam. Before returning to Da Nang, we will take a nice walk along a beautiful long white sandy beach that offers picturesque sea views.

In the afternoon, we will discover the city of Hoi An by foot. The historic town, which used to be a prosperous seaport city from the 16th to 18th centuries, is now a beautiful city that cannot be missed while touring the Southeast Asian region. While walking through the city, we will make a few stops to visit Hoi An’s Colorful Local Market, Tan Ky Old House, Fu Jian Assembly Hall and the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge. We can also see local residents raising silkworms and produce silk for Hoi An’s burgeoning textile industry.
